Our verdict

  • Good influence 5/5
  • Parent appeal 4/5
  • Well made 3/5

Why these scores

Good influence

Does it show behaviour you'd be happy to see copied?

5out of 5

Characters consistently demonstrate empathy, teamwork, and emotionally mature conflict resolution, with reviewers highlighting the natural inclusion of diverse characters. While one source mentions occasional instances of unkindness played for laughs, the overwhelming consensus is that the show models supportive and kind relationships.

Parent appeal

Will you enjoy watching it with them?

4out of 5

Opinions are somewhat divided, with one critic finding the plots formulaic, but most describe the show as genuinely entertaining for adults due to its campy humor and serialized character growth. The inclusion of compelling villain motivations and clever banter makes it easy company for parents watching with their children.

Well made

Are the writing, animation and sound made with care?

3out of 5

The series is praised for its strong voice acting and a thoughtful writing style that avoids over-explaining the plot. However, the score is tempered by reports of low-quality animation and a serialized structure that can make individual episodes feel unmemorable or rushed.
